Kar2ouche Clique Français is produced in association with Harper Collins and is designed to deliver all the speaking and listening requirements of the GCSE and Standard Grade French examination.

A series of structured, interactive activities - including role-playing and creating storyboards - builds on students' knowledge and understanding of the language, their language-learning skills and cultural awareness. Because activities are presented in a fun and engaging way, students not only learn new vocabulary; they also develop the confidence to use it.

Activities feature over 40 role-play scenarios, covering five key topics at Foundation and Higher Level for Key Stage 4, ages 14 to 16. Each topic uses a standard five-stage progression to take students step by step from receptive use of the language through to practising their speaking skills.

There are five units that provide suggested activities at three different levels - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. They allow students to practise their oral and written skills in real, relevant contexts, such as:

Me and my friends - introducing yourself and your friends
My home - describing your house, family and pets
My life - describing your school timetable and daily routines
My hobbies - free-time activities, planning an evening out and describing a date
